Pearsauce on a bed of silky tofu
- 5 pears , peeled and roughly cut
- 2 cups of water
- 350g Silky Organic Tofu (300mL)
- 2 tbsp. at t. of organic ginger tea
- 1 C. to s. vanilla essence
- 1 C. at t. cinnamon
- Maple syrup
- 6-7 fresh mint leaves
Step 1: Pear Compote
1- Make two cups of water and brew the tea for 15 minutes so that the water is golden brown.
2- In a small saucepan, add the infused water and boil the washed and chopped pears. Let it boil for about fifteen minutes.
3- Using a blender stand or food processor, puree. Add 2 tbsp. at t. maple syrup.
Step 2: Prepare the silky tofu
1- Drain the silky tofu
2- In a food processor, place the silky tofu, 1 tbsp. at t. maple syrup, mint, vanilla and cinnamon. Mix until it is homogeneous.
Step 3: Taste or store
1- Place the silky tofu at the base of your pot and add the pear compote. Keep refrigerated. Before eating add 1 to 2 tbsp. to s. maple syrup.
* This keeps 4 to 5 days in the fridge and taste !!!
